We Love Volunteers!

Most community sporting clubs would not be able to run without volunteers who fill many crucial roles. At DSTC, we value all of our volunteers enormously - they are the lifeblood of our club, and we are grateful for their commitment and work in making us a successful club, on and off the court.

 

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers at Dover Square. Volunteering is a very rewarding way to get involved in our great club!

 

Why volunteer? It has been proven to be terrific for improved mental health - it brings you increased life satisfaction, helps stop loneliness, gives you a sense of belonging, and you are very needed. PLUS: it won't cost you anything, and your commitment to voluntary work looks great on your resume. We'll even shout you a free annual thank you dinner! Committee members in primary positions also receive a discount on their member playing fees.

 

All committee positions are made available at our AGM, which is typically held every July. Any commitment to a committee position is expected to be honoured for a minimum of 12 months, up to 2 years.
