OUR 2020-21 SUMMER SEASON JUNIOR GRAND FINAL WINNERS
What a day! Congratulations to our 3 junior Dover teams who competed in their respective Grand Finals today. Such a super effort, to come away with 3 wins!
Division 1 Boys defeated Seacliff in a rain interrupted match. Dover boys were the top team on the ladder all year. Some super tennis was played today along with great sportsmanship.
Division 2 Girls defeated Seacliff.
It was level pegging all morning. It then came down to the last two singles returning after the rain. Both sets going Dover's way in tie-breaks.
Division 5 Mixed defeated Marion. A very well deserved victory beating Marion who had been on top of the ladder all year. Everyone played their part, and it was very much a complete team effort.
Today all of our players deserve to be congratulated on their sportsmanship, effort, and for never giving up. There is nothing more pleasing to see you all listening to the advice from your coach, and going out there and competing at your absolute best.
Well done to all - a great day for the Club.
